Pre-requisite = NONE
Our puppy class is focused on first steps of training, socialisation and confidence building. This course is taught entirely on-lead. Group sizes are limited to 10 -12 pups.
Basic

The Basic Obedience Course teaches you how to have control of the dog and enables the dog to be responsive to voice commands and hand signals. Group sizes are limited to 10 dogs.
Intermediate

12 Week Course
1 hour duration
Ages 10 months & up
Pre-requisite = Basic Obedience
Intermediate Obedience is for those wanting to advance their training to include off-lead obedience work and control of the dog. The course also introduces the dog sport of Agility, which is much loved by both handlers and dogs. Group sizes are limited to 11 dogs.
Private Lessons

Individual private lessons at a mutually convenient time, either at your home or at our training grounds. Private Lessons teaches the handlers how to have control of their dog and enables the dog to be responsive to voice commands and hand signals. The lessons are one-to-one with an Instructor and therefore can be tailored and designed to meet the owners’ individual needs.
Walk & Train

1 hour duration
We help you decide on what training is required, our Instructor will design an obedience program to meet your goals, collect and return your dog from home or work for each lesson, complete the training with the dog and then teach you what your dog has learnt whilst everyone’s been at work and school.
Board & Train

A personalised, live-in training program developed to give dogs an “obedience work-out” whilst they enjoy their stay at The Pets Hotel and their owners are away.

What does that mean?
As balanced dog trainers we use “yes” and “no”. We reward the behaviour we want to keep and correct the unwanted behaviours. Some trainers limit themselves to reward only training. This can be confusing for a dog and prolong the learning process. By conveying exactly what you like and don’t like your dog can quickly learn which choices make owner and dog happy.
