Our Basic-To-Advanced Obedience Training Programs will give you the tools to exercise your dogs
both physically and mentally to bring their energy level to a balanced state.

Unleash your dog’s potential

The next step in your obedience training

Keep the ball rolling after Basic Obedience class with Intermediate training.
Intermediate is designed to apply the knowledge gained in our basic level to real life situations.
The curriculum ups the ante big time by increasing distractions and incorporating new commands to help owners handle everyday life with a dog!
Just like our Basic Class we incorporate games and challenges to help make obedience less of a chore
and way more fun, you will build on your skills from basic obedience and more.
Group class provides a high level of distraction for your dog while maintaining a safe and controlled environment that you won’t otherwise find.

Intermediate Obedience

Our Intermediate Obedience group dog training class is designed for those students who have already graduated from a Basic Obedience class. Having successfully achieved a solid foundation of basic training this class will help fine tune and improve upon your previous training, as well as allow you an opportunity for troubleshooting behaviour issues.

11 week group class at one of our Training Grounds

Sundays Westerfolds Park Templestowe
11 x 1 hour lessons
Maximum 11 Dogs to a class
Dogs are required to have successfully completed Basic Obedience

The Intermediate Obedience Course is for those wanting to advance their training to include off-lead obedience work and control of the dog. The course also introduces the dog sport of Agility, which is much loved by both handlers and dogs.

  • On Lead Obedience

  • Off Lead Obedience

  • Furthering obedience with exercises such as the drop on recall, fast pace heel work, silent signals, etc

  • Socialisation work incorporating circle work, stays, recalls and proofing

  • Basic retrieving including hold, give commands and finish to heel

  • Control from a distance

  • Introducing the dogs to the sport of agility including, weave work, jumps, tunnels, rings and scent work

These classes are for dogs who have mastered basic obedience and whose owners would like to further their training and socialisation or simply enjoy reinforcement in the training their dogs.
